Game Thread: Twins vs. Royals, 8/3/19 @ 6:10pm CDT

POLANCO!!

POLANCO=STUD

[D. Hocking]

I remember listening to the Twins on WELY. If you were lucky, you could hear some good Polka music beforehand. This team has a little bit of power...

And then some - WOW!

[bighat]

Cruz says to Polanco: "This is still my show, kid".

[TwinsCD]

BREMER JUST SAID BYRON WILL B OUT AT LEAST 3 WEEKS, MY GOD is he brittle

You run full speed into these walls trying to track down a batted ball and see how you come out of it.  Bux has had a lot of bad luck with the injury bug in his career.

[ashbury]

CRUZ !!!! ^2

You have to be kidding me!

[big dog]

Danny Duffy is going to fake an injury any second.

[jimbo92107]

Nelson Cruz esta enfuego! I don't know much Spanish, but that'll do!

[TwinsCD]

GOOD JUMPIN JEHOSAPHAT, NELSON!!!!

[wavedog]

Cruz again - unbelievable.

[MVP Nick Punto]

CRUSHED by Polanco! That was Cruz-like! Majestic!

I think Cruz read this and took offense.

[nicksaviking]

Trying to decide between a six or seven year extension for Nelson Cruz.

[jtkoupal]

Man. Danny Duffy has been rough for the Royals this year. Dayton Moore has to be kicking himself for hanging onto him when they could have traded him multiple times and gotten a hefty return.

[MNT1996]

Juiced balls or not. This will go down as one of the best offensive teams in MLB history.

Kyle Rudolf figured out how to not get hurt I think Buxton will eventually.

[rkevin]

wow...

Po-Po-Polancoooooooooooo !!

Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzzz !!

What's that funny dance that Cruz and Sano do? I think I seen Eddie do it too. lol

[Blake]

Usually, I have a bit of sympathy when a pitcher is punished like this, but not Duffy.

[jimbo92107]

Now the trick is to keep adding. I don't ask much, just one or two more runs per inning. That's all I ask.

Oh, and kill Superman. That's all I ask.

[DocBauer]

GOOD JUMPIN JEHOSAPHAT, NELSON!!!!

I officially take back every thought I ever had that I would prefer McCutchen or Brantley first.

[Halsey Hall]

Is a 5 run lead enough, Gibby?

[bighat]

Gonzalez since July 23: 5-for-32 (.156) with no mult-hit games.

C'mon Gibby, a clean inning here would be fantastic.

[Blake]

Batman took care of Superman a movie or three ago.

I got to that site just in time to see a couple bombs.

[wabene]

Fire some strikes Gibby!!!

Sure he's in a slump, but the versatility he gives the team is great.

And Smith. Finally, eventually, learned your team needs you for a full season. You learn to go down or hold up just to preserve yourself.

[ashbury]

Danny Duffy is going to fake an injury any second.

Neck injury due to whiplash would be questioned by no one in the league office.

[TwinsCD]

Our Lady Peace already told me years ago that Superman's dead.

Yeah, a couple of us have been warming up crow lately.

For instance, I was so disgusted with Sano I suggested he get sent back down to Triple A.

[Darius]

Cruz might hit 3 tonight. He nearly had 3 last night. He had 3 in s game mere days ago.

He is crushing the ball all over field in every single at bat right now. It’s incredible.

If you're talking about bilasport you can rewind.
