notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 I am beginning to wonder if Falvey's plan all the while was to ensure another Cleveland division title.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 That’s 21 runs allowed in the last 6 innings. It’s hard not to “be better” than that
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Odo certainly has the swing and miss stuff, but his misses are bad. Hangers, and they get crushed.
Roaddog Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Cave is still better than Delmon in the field. I think.Just think, some fans thought Cave was as good or better than Buxton
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 "Kyle Gibson gave up 5ER in 5IP and that's the best start in this series for either team."LOL Like I kept saying today, people were bashing Gibson and he's the only guy that has come within a country mile of not being terrible. If Baldelli had a bullpen, I doubt he even throws to Gregorius. If that's the case, Gibby doesn't even last five innings, which is terrible.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Off the bat of Butera, I believe.Twist the knife, twist the knife. The Royals fan seated near us was not gracious to the two fans wearing TC hats after that play. Good thing there was a RoyalsDaily moderator there to keep me from taking a swing at him.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 This is not a slump, this is the Twins. You can’t win without pitching, no matter how many homers you hit
cmoss84 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Remember, Yanks pen not exactly in good shape either. We still have a chance if we can chase Happ early
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 How about a 5 spot here. Get things rockin'.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Eh, at least that pitch wasn't terrible. Kudos to the hitter. At least someone finally got Gregorious out.Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we have entered the "at least" phase of tonight's game.

Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Cleveland now up 3-0 top of the 9th.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Twins' batters have to be just slightly ticked off.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Cleveland now up 3-0 top of the 9th. Bet the guy who was hanging around here is loving life
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 ...and Happ gets the outside edge that Odo doesn't......
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Just think, some fans thought Cave was as good or better than Buxton Remember when the discussion was that Kepler could be traded as part of the package for Realmuto because Cave was just as good, if not better?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Twins' batters have to be just slightly ticked off.Good, so they’ve got a ways to go til they catch up to me
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Provus just said that Perkins tweeted that last nights loss was his fault. The idea being that Terry Ryan was so smitten after the HR Perkins gave up to Murphy in 2015 that Ryan thought it would be a good move to trade Hicks for him. Any Twiterer got that link? Sounds pretty funny, even if sad and perhaps partially true.
Krabby5 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Just think, some fans thought Cave was as good or better than BuxtonI don’t get that. The first time i saw him play this year i thought he was terrible, and doesn’t look like a professional at all.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we have entered the "at least" phase of tonight's game.Nah, those pitches Odorizzi threw that were drilled earlier were dead red over the plate. Crap pitches, frankly. That last homer was a legit good hit on a pitch that was hard to turn on (inside pitch quite high in the zone).

Krabby5 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Twins have had some bad teams over the years but can’t recall the entire pitching staff imploding at the same time before.Good thing they don’t play in the AL East
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 It's good to see that last night's exciting thrill ride has lit a fire under them. Hopefully the parade route runs by the State Capitol again so I can watch from my office window.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 That was a lazy ****ing inning from the middle of the lineup.
