Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Another leadoff man reaches. And probably their worst hitter
Krabby5 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 That was a lazy ****ing inning from the middle of the lineup.Bad pitching will do that. Crooked numbers most innings lately
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Bet the guy who was hanging around here is loving life He should be. Lead likely down to 2 games.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 We can't even get Austin Romine out...yikes. That pitch was way outside, too.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Except the Twins lost a heartbreaker to Oakland just a few days ago, then turned around and won the next game.On the deflation scale, Saturday’s loss was a blip compared to last night considering size of the lead, regaining the lead and losing it and the opponent. And the way it ended. Last night s*cked
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 At least I can take it when someone refutes my point.Doubtful anyone has ever refuted one of your posts until now
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 On the deflation scale, Saturday’s loss was a blip compared to last night considering size of the lead, regaining the lead and losing it and the opponent. And the way it ended. Last night s*ckedI disagree. The Twins were on more of a skid after that Oakland game. They had lost five of six and were facing a very good and very hot Oakland team. They could have easily laid down and died, yet they rebounded and won the next game. Your defeatism is not reality.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Yuck. I wouldn't challenge that.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Nah, those pitches Odorizzi threw that were drilled earlier were dead red over the plate. Crap pitches, frankly. That last homer was a legit good hit on a pitch that was hard to turn on (inside pitch quite high in the zone). Great video summary of Odorizzi's horrible pitches on ESPN just now.....
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Wish Bremer was in the booth in NY. The calls always happen to be in the Twins favor from his camera angle.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Meanwhile, Cleveland gets 4 more games at KC after tonight.

jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 They gonna reach double digits by the end of the inning?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 You know, I never really had a like or dislike for Jake Cave. Until about an hour ago.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 How is nobody warming? I get everyone is spent but are we just conceding? It’s the 4th!
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 4th inning and Hicks is up for the third time.
David HK Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 I saw it, it did indeed happenI saw that trade happen, and I think I posted just the same sentiment here. We traded Hicks for a guy who hit that one home run that one time? Heh... funny that Perk would 'take responsibility' for it!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Odorizzi totally missed the memo that he needed to step up tonight. Now the ESPN guys are just adoring and admiring the Yankees. Sickening.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Missing the playoffs is a very real scenario
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 How is nobody warming? I get everyone is spent but are we just conceding? It’s the 4th!I think Baldelli is just crossing his fingers in hopes he can get Smeltzer up in the fifth. Getting a guy up and down a lot isn't awesome.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 4th inning and Hicks is up for the third time. Are the Yankees using ghost runners?!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 I’m close to turning this one off.
