Did Hendriks ever throw 99 for the Twins or any of the other 17 teams he was with?

He averaged 90.9 MPH as a starter for the Twins. There was really no way to see this coming. I think he was around 97 MPH last year with the A's.

Only one today. 14 of 30 for the year. It’s worth noting that the 30 inherited runners is tied for 5th most in the AL. Mixed resuults for the other guys that have inherited that many. Ranging from 25% scored for Yusmeiro Petit to 57% scored off of Miguel Castro. Trevor Hildenberger still ranks 34th in the AL with 19 inherited runners and he hasn’t pitched at the MLB level in over two months.

Looking at this Oakland team, it reminds me of a bunch of leftovers. Unfortunately for the Twins, sometimes leftovers can be really good, at least until they go bad. Some posters have argued that the Athletics look like a World Series team. I don't see it. I see it as a bunch of overachievers somehow playing ~.500 ball. It's rare (1987) that such teams go on to post-season success. 

 

As for the Twins, is it just bad luck that they can't score with the bases loaded or are they really a bunch of chokers? Time will tell, I guess.
