Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Thank goodness for Cleveland pitching injuries and a big enough lead to work on somethings.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 At least rocco didn't stick with a pitcher that had been able to record an out.
d-mac Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 I feel like every time a Twins reliever gives up a run, everyone should start sarcastically chanting "Kimbrel! Kimbrel! Kimbrel!"

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 I legitimately thought the paper had a typo this morning when I saw Milone’s name listed for Seattle. Or maybe it was his son who just got called up.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Ryan Eades looks pretty good. Decent command of his heater and his off-speed stuff. Keep him! Is Romero available in Rochester? Moya? Littel? Any of those guys is better than May. Heck, Smeltzer is better.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 I'm not concerned. Finally a challenge for this offense. Twins will probably explode for 8-9 runs in the 8th and 9th. Should be fun to watch...Shh...Nobody say anything. Just need 4 more to tie.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Great job, bullpen. This is a W with any bit of competency.

Littell probably needs some time to adapt to the bullpen. We also kinda need Smeltzer as our 6th starter 'cause I don't know who else is going to be that.
wavedog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 We have the Seattle bullpen and defense so we are still in this game

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Shh...Nobody say anything. Just need 4 more to tie.Playing the same game as last night I see. Shhh... wont tell anyone.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 The bullpen may not be awesome but at least we have payroll flexibility. Yep. And also grrr. Almost limitless potential for the Twins to "express interest" in relievers on the trading block, but whose teams ultimately wanted more back in prospects than the Twins were willing to give. Falvine are probably already pre-taping the response to beat writers.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Seattle still has another crack at the Twins bullpen too.Who's left?
bighat Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 This offense doesn't seem to ever believe they're out of it. Gotta appreciate the fire.
d-mac Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Anthony Bass is still around? That's a blast from the past.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 I'm sure glad they don't have Edwin Diaz in their bullpen...
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Playing the same game as last night I see. Shhh... wont tell anyone. It worked last night should work tonight too. Shh.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 We have one of the best teams, overall, in MLB, and one of the best records. And here I am stressing on a Wednesday night for a comeback win. What is wrong with me? Someone hand me another beer, PLEASE.

HawksNest Verified Member Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Once again, championship level lineup proving their mettle and resilience. Also, this team isn't winning a playoff series without at least 2 more bullpen arms.
