My sweet youngest daughter detailed me to watch the chicken and make sure it doesn't burn. I guess she forgot that burned chicken was my specialty.

"The Last Detail" is a great movie.

Now who and when gave La Tortuga his name?

[MVP Nick Punto]

One of his great regrets was that he wasn't big enough to play football for Princeton. I just never realized he was that small.

Maybe he should've tried baseball. His strike zone would have been tiiiny.

Captain Jack Sparrow

[Brandon]

The Twins number 8 hitter today is on pace for around 30-35 HRs.

Splinter. Circa 1984.

[operation mindcrime]

I did, and she asked for a draft pick in return

And You should've asked her to get a friend to join you in a threesome!!!!

[jokin]

I do think there are more bad teams in baseball this year than is normal. Wait until we get to the Central, oh my.

The Classic Lake will be a cakewalk by comparison.

F Scott Gaedel at bat.

Perez laboring

And he has banded together with his fellow laborers to overthrow the bourgeoisie

Peter clicks dis-Like, just for the uncomfortable similarity:

[drock2190]

This Angels announcer leaves a bit to be desired...

Keeps repeating "The ball was chased and missed."

Meanwhile the ball was straight down the pipe.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Are we there yet?

[yarnivek1972]

Three true outcome player.

[USAFChief]

Two consecutive scoreless innings. I knew they were bound to regress, but man, this badly?

[ashbury]

Are we there yet?

We're somewhere.

Dick just said Harmon Killebrew was never shifted. He was shifted all the time!!!!

Looks like best case scenario for Perez is five and fly.

[Aggies7]

Sort of concerned about the recent struggles the starters have had to just get through 5

We're somewhere.

"It's good to be somewhere, and here is where we now are best."

Polanco looked to second for some reason

[MVP Nick Punto]

Polanco looked to second for some reason

He thought he saw a silver dollar over there

[ashbury]

Polanco looked to second for some reason

Not a major league SS play, not really a major league SS throw either.

[ScrapTheNickname]

Polanco is making us rethink about what his bobble-head might look like.

[wavedog]

There is an example of the shift working - although Polanco almost booted his 2nd straight ball

[Nine of twelve]

Dick just said Harmon Killebrew was never shifted. He was shifted all the time!!!!

He was shifted frequently, probably more than any other batter back then.

But close, very close.

And I don't care who I am, either.
