Remember when everyone wanted us to sign Cody Allen? Now, he not only isn't the Angels' closer, or even in a high leverage position, but he can't put away Ehire (who is, to be fair, playing like his job depends on it).

That's okay, I keep reading Tommy Lasorda for La Stella for some reason.

It occurred to me yesterday that "La Stella" in English meanings The Star.

Today I just had to look up "La Sorda," which means "The deaf one."

Interesting, a little bit?

Why Hildenberger? Is everyone else hurt or pitched yesterday?

 

4 run lead at home in the middle of a 14 day streak without an off day and 4 pitchers have already been used today?

And bring up who? You have to let him pitch here. He isn't as bad as he has been, and there aren't better options in AAA. Give him a smaller role for the time being, but don't demote him to AAA.

 

As I type this, he gives up another double. Yikes.

Hate to say this, but if Hildy gives up another baserunner the Twins have to pull him and then maybe send him down.
