MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 *sotto voice* We've secretly replaced the Twins with the 1927 Yankees. Let's watch and see if anyone notices. I did hear a rumor on one of the Twins' fan sites that we had Babe Ruth at catcher.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Please send May out for the 7th.Rocco heard ya
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Ohtani is a real pain in the ass.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Without the shift . i think that was a d.p.??
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Please send May out for the 7th.On second thought..........
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Sent him a text.Tell him to quit shifting so much
bighat Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 May showing why he's the guy the Twins rely on when they're up by 5 runs with 2 innings to play.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 May and M,gill pretty much the same ??
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Tell him to quit shifting so much This is not a good sentence to quickly read over and not look closely at all the words.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Ohtani is a real pain in the ass.I really like him as a player but, darn it, can't he just do his thing against every other team?
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Angels have 7 batters in the line-up hitting .288 or better.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 This is not a good sentence to quickly read over and not look closely at all the words.Good One !!
bighat Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Ohtani is a real pain in the ass. I wonder if maybe this Tommy John year is a blessing in disguise for Ohtani? I mean...if he keeps hitting like this he could become a full-time DH a la Edgar Martinez, Nelson Cruz, etc. The guy could hit 35 HR and knock in 100 runs as a hitter.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 The complete inability to put the angels away this entire series has been absolutely maddening
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Magill just wanted to add a little suspense to the game is all
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 One run is better than 3 or 4 I suppose. Then again the Angels get to bat two more times.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 This is the guy that people missed when he was on the DL?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Getting kind of over the whole Willians Astudillo experiment. The guy needs to start taking some pitches and getting on base. I get he's a fan favorite, but man is his absolute non-production in his past three weeks of playing is getting old, quick.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 This is not a good sentence to quickly read over and not look closely at all the words.Har! I am a son of a birth person, and when she read this, boy was mother flustered. She was a copbuster AND a cropduster at different points in her life. (A copbuster is the colloquial term for an ombudsmen.) In addition to that, she once went on a cruise on which both the pope and the Dalai Lama were present--that was one holy ship! Anyway, 12 people have replied as I tried to come up with this malarkey. Man, I hope the Twins haven't blown this lead!
