Yeah, it's  a nice little promotion and there's at least a theoretical chance you might win, but being given a handful of scratch-offs by the Twins would feel to me like being invited to Dave St. Peter's house to clean the grout in all the bathrooms.

Morneau shows off his brilliant gift for understatement again, saying that we may almost be spoiled by how often Twins starters have pitched well this season...

 

I guess it's an individual thing, but I'm almost spoiled by the Twins starters pitching well in about the same way that Caligula may have occasionally dabbled in personal excess.

If this Angels team actually had some starting pitching, they would be World Series contenders.... Alas, they probably won't even make the playoffs

Does it surprise anybody that when the starting pitchers get close to 85-90 pitches they start having problems? You know since when they are on their game they aren't allowed to go any further than that.
