How many years has that actress been portraying Toyota Jan? That has to be a pretty good gig, probably will set her up for retirement when that advertising program is discontinued.

Has anyone ever seen a hometown fan get booed for not catching a ball?

Saw a kid in Philly get punched by a grownup for dropping one once. Does that count?

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Does clicking Like on both these statements make me a bad person?

Freud might say it’s clear you are struggling with some inner conflict

I honestly don't know...

[ashbury]

Pineda faces the minimum through four. Great signing, or greatest signing ever?

FalVine = Genius.

I wonder what is the most baserunners allowed in a game in which there were 27 plate appearances.

Leave my mother out of this. She was a saint. What's wrong with you????

No, because that's typical behavior by a Philadelphia sports fan.

I like to think it was his dad, but... Philly, so who knows.

... and everyone else calls it "The Mistake by the Lake"

I thought that was just old Municipal Stadium. Were they talking about the whole city? (I mean, it would fit, but I was just curious about historical accuracy.)

Two words...Kepler extension.

I think I was at that game too.  Usually it was just spitting on the kids for wearing the other teams jersey.

Go Turtle man!!!!!

[RedBull34]

Pay the man!

ASTUDILLLLLLLLLLLO!

He didn't have to catch it, just knock it down - standard Hail-Mary defense. (I was booing him from my living room.)

[ashbury]

Astudillo is having himself an afternoon.

[PseudoSABR]

BUCKKKKK!!!

[twinssporto]

Somebody hold me down!  This team looks like night and day from last year...

[RedBull34]

WOW! He hit that hard!

Those two 2Bs might have been HRs in July!

[PseudoSABR]

Nice two-strike hit by Buxton.  He looks so much better than last year. *knocks on wood*

To be fair, Bauer was on it yesterday.

[ashbury]

Chip on the Shoulder Buxton is Good Buxton. I'm cautiously optimistic.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Wow that is a huge rip

[twinssporto]

I like seeing Perez hit 95mph.  97 mph. Nice.

Did Pineda get hurt? Was it expected that he’s lifted after 4 innings & 40 pitches?

They don't want to put too much strain on his elbow this early in the season.

Possible All Star if somebody vandalizes his car...

Sounds like this was planned to keep Perez extended, and limit Pineda after injury.
