Game Thread: Twins vs Cleveland @ 1:10PM PT (3:10PM CT)

[TwinsCD]

Sweet little frisbee by Berrios to get out of that jam.

[cmoss84]

Are any of the twins hitting the ball hard at least?

[bighat]

Are any of the twins hitting the ball hard at least?

Not really. No hard-hit balls of note.

[bighat]

Can we jinx Kluber here and say NO-HITTER.

[Cap'n Piranha]

Can we jinx Kluber here and say NO-HITTER.

Hell, I'll go one further and say Perfect Game.

[Pants_andy]

Buxton putting a little sparkle on it with the unneeded hop.

I ran to my car for a book, and lost my seat in front of the tv...

Such are the travails of watching sports in a bar. At least it has mountain dew...

[Blake]

Berrios looks good.

So does Kluber, darn it.

[Pants_andy]

Who will get the first hit? At some point Rocco’s just gotta put Astudillo in just

To get an H on the board.

[Don Walcott]

This is a total surprise to me. These guys were RAKING in Spring Training. . . .

[Pants_andy]

And we’re on board. Here we go!

[strumdatjaguar]

There goes Kluber’s perfect game.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

A base runner!

[strumdatjaguar]

There goes Kluber’s perfect game.

[PseudoSABR]

This is a total surprise to me. These guys were RAKING in Spring Training. . . .

Kluber is one of the best pitchers in the game.

[Pants_andy]

Is there a Twins Daily app? Or a more mobile friendly way to comment and follow?

[wavedog]

OK, just joining - dang work getting in the way.  What I miss?  Looks like a whole lot of good pitching.

[wavedog]

6th inning already - These rules to speed-up baseball are really working!

[luckylager]

I really wish they'd give Morneau the job full-time.

[jkcarew]

Tight game! We’re looking at a one-run game...once these clubs turn it over to their bullpens...maybe about 8-7?

[Blake]

Berrios has been pretty efficient. 8 K's through 5 and a third and 64 pitches.

Unfortunately, the Twins have allowed Kluber to be even more efficient.

[Jerr]

Now here we go!!! Buxton!!!

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Buxton rips it.

On second...

[SF Twins Fan]

Let's go Twins, let's go. Clap clap. Let's go Twins, let's go. Clap clap.  Berrios is shutting them down!!! Just need the bat's to come around. I'm calling it - Buxton with a double for the first hit of the season.

Called it!

[strumdatjaguar]

There goes Kluber’s no-hitter.

[wavedog]

Nice at-bat by Buxton - good to see!

[sampleSizeOfOne]

And Buxton advances on can of corn to left...

[wavedog]

Don't need to swing that hard Polanco - just a hit

[Monkeypaws]

Nice to see the Twins making Kluber work a bit here. He got through 5 sooo easy

[John Kelsey]

I will say, Kluber's stuff doesn't look quite as nasty as it used to.

He still is a pretty great pitcher though.
