GardyParty Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Molitor is being exposed for what he is a terrible manager. Absolutely awful what he did to Curtiss there. You don’t leave a kid out there in that instance. A blind and deaf man could see that the kid cam in the game struggling and should have been pulled straight away
Blake Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Ah, the horror is over. But tomorrow is another day! Oh, wait, scratch that....
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 I think we're at the point where the Twins will be lucky to finish the season at .500...
snepp Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 You're being taxed for the 10th inning at Target Field?? Someone has to pay for it.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 'And you may ask yourself, My god, what have I done? Letting the ball go by, and then the lead is gone, Letting the ball go by, runs are flowing all around Once in home stand, runs are flowing all around'

KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 So now a rookie making his first start is the only thing standing between the Twins and being swept in 3 out of the last 4 series....wow

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Did the bullpen get better? Yes, the backend at least. However, we have no consistency in 4-7. HAVE to find consistency in 4-7. They don't have to be lights out, but they have to be better. Can't ride Duke, Pressly, and Reed all year. This is our biggest problem right now, other than starters not going deep. I wish it was that simple. It's like Victor Laszlo said in Casablanca. "What if you killed all the bullpen issues. From every corner of the dugout, hitting, starting pitching, defense, focus, effort, baseball intelligence would rise up to take it's place". This team has issues bleeding out of every body part right now. The only comfort I have is knowing that it can't be like this all year.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Still chuckling over this. It's like a bad movie. So unbelievably bad one cannot help but laugh because somehow this dreck was foisted off on the public.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 You're being taxed for the 10th inning at Target Field?? It was extremely taxing.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 I don't think there were other options. What, Garvin couldn't manage? Maybe Guardado?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Instead of blaming Molitor or the front office, I am going to start blaming Kepler for every loss.Like in Full Metal Jacket, I have failed. I have done all I can do. I now blame you, Max Kepler. This one is on you.In cadence... Ok, fair enough, but if you get up in the middle of the night and find Max on your toilet, please just leave the house and call the shore patrol. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_pH_TL_mjT6g/TReAHJ2pdtI/AAAAAAAAB8c/NW65I_Qpthg/s1600/fmj1.png

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 The 10th inning was just about as ugly as major league baseball gets. And there's no position player help in sight. Buxton and Sano go on the DL--TWO players--and we're watching LaMarre, Grossman, and Petit. There's an old saying in the Air Force: PPPPP. Prior Planning Prevents P*** Poor Performance. I don't think having 15 position players on the 40 man to start the season was particularly profound prior planning by the front office.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 What, Garvin couldn't manage? Maybe Guardado?I'm reasonably confident Guardado wouldn't have fared worse.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Two games from the worst record in baseball. Only four teams worse.

On the other hand, the FO should know which pitchers need to be removed from the 40 man now.

Blake Verified Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 it would almost be worth it to sign up on twitter just to keep an eye on Falvey's and LeVine's twitter feed. I bet their twitter accounts are melting down these last couple of weeks.
