It should also be noted, it's only your interpretation Eddie threw to the proper base.

 

I contend the fact the ball ended up at the proper base does not constitute proof of same. 

 

In fact, it could be considered contra-evidence.

This is the problem when you have to get 4-6 innings out of the bullpen every night. I’m sorry, a 5 inning start is not really all that “good”

So, looked up Reed's IP numbers. Most he has thrown in a year is 77. He is on pace for 84. Overuse? Maybe.

 

He must be pacing himself. Only reasonI can think of that he's tossing 89MPH heaters up there.
