This is a stretch. But here it goes.

A (Gross)man walks down the street
He says why am I soft in the middle now
Why am I soft in the middle
The rest of my life is so hard

Black hole (Morri)sun
Won't you come
And wash away the rain

Jason hittin' like he's wearin a Castro.

sorry. long day.

Castro, Morrison and Grossman walk into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but three strikes and you guys are outta here."

Castro says, "Is that one apiece?"

Morrison says, "I'll take three."

Grossman says, "That takes balls."

The bartender says, "That's it! You guys are out!"

Morrison turns to his two companions, "Where have I heard that before?"

I know it is early, and there is no such thing as a "must win" game in April. However, tonight, a win would be HUGE after a 3 game losing streak to a team we had no business getting swept by. Hoping to see us play with some fire tonight after what happened last time we played in Yankee stadium. Predicting a big night by Jake and Logan. Go Twins

gameday says sacrifice bunt. that can't be real, not in the first inning....

Nope. I mean it was ruled as a SAC, so gameday is correct, but watching it, and the way Mauer reacted, it was an attempt to beat the shift. Nice play by Tanaka. A little harder bunt and it's a single for Mauer

I'm watching the Yankees feed (MLB.TV didn't have the Twins' feed for some reason). The Yankees broadcasters were questioning why it was ruled a "sacrifice bunt" as well. But indeed it was scored a sac bunt by the official scorer, at least for now.

"Your product placement checks are in the mail. Thanks."

I see... You attend the Boston Marathon and see these people sprint around one time and now your an expert on product placement.  :)

I say we’ll be outscored 36-7 in this series.

And I hope it’s that good.

Once again, we are baffled by Mauer's approach.

For years he has come into this stadium losing nearly every single game.  His idea is BUNT in the first inning.  Does he think he's Luis Aparicio or something?   Joe basically conceded an at bat right there.

His mindset in Yankee Stadium (on a 60 degree night) should be to swing away.  It's a band box.  Maybe....just maybe.....he gets one over the wall.  Perish the thought

Yep, bunting when you’re facing a lineup like this.
