Game Thread 4/10/18 Twins vs. Astros 7:10 PM CDT

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Another at bat chalked up to Sano's Three True Outcomes:  Strikeout... Homer... Pizza.

Strikeout swinging, strikeout looking, and strikeout check-swinging.

Didn't even consider the pizza!

[Squirrel]

Honestly, gimme a baseball again, and I feel like I could strike out Sano myself.

And I haven't pitched since T-Ball

*ba-dum*

I think Chief hacked your account.

[LaBombo]

Oh you lucky CDT people.

Before it's over the lucky ones might be the ADD people, who bailed an hour ago.

Maybe the game isn't really that slow. When your cold everything seems to take longer.

[Aggies7]

You mean like the tying HR against Seattle?

Lol yes yes yes I get it. His big at bat/come through ratio is not good for someone who’s supposed to be a stud

[Nine of twelve]

When I got out of the Air Force, I was a substitute school teacher for a year while I looked for a real job.  I remember one time I was teaching HS Chemistry, and this one kid had it in for me.  We sorta got into it verbally, until he threw some sodium chloride at me.

I had to call the cops and report it.  After all, that's a salt.

Was calling the cops your only solution?

I actually concur, the K's are monumentally concerning.

Just funnin' ya.

watch it bub.  The last guy who improved on one of my jokes hasn't been seen since.

And that joke was an an assault on humor, in its normal definition.

And speaking of HS chemistry teachers...what's a HS chem teacher's favorite food?

[Platoon]

Is that what they mean about 3 true outcomes?

It’s concerning because of what he’s supposed to be for the team. I know all the big power guys K a lot but they mix in home runs and xbh at a seemingly higher rate. I have no stats to back this up, it’s just what I see from watching the games.

[70charger]

Speaking of things that I hate, I absolutely hate this Ric Flair "woo" ****. Shut up already.

[NorthwestTwinsFan]

I think the best thing to do for now is move Sano down a few spots in the lineup and put someone like Kepler in the 3 hole.  Or anyone who can make contact with the ball, really.

Perhaps heat is needed to prompt the desired reaction.

Wait'll June.

Did they pepper you with questions?

[USAFChief]

OK...somebody 'splain to me what Zach Duke is doing facing Altuve and Correa??

[Mill1634]

Would have rather seen Duke in the 7th and Press in the 8th if we were going to see these two.

[USAFChief]

Ha...Duke tried to quick pitch Altuve on pitch 3.

[LaBombo]

brilliant!

[Danchat]

Altuve is trying to bunt... heck, let him, I'd rather him do that than hit a double or a triple.

[USAFChief]

TeHe!

NoT i.

Yeah, now you've lost most of us.
