Game Thread: Twins @ Tigers 9-23 5:10 PM CT

[snepp]

What the **** are they doing having Escobar bunt?

Molly was going through withdrawals.

[yarnivek1972]

Give Byron the two run triple sign...

[bighat]

Escobar, whattaguy. Let's pile a couple more on here boys.

[Tibs]

I'm going to be the biggest A's fan tonight

[snepp]

Nice hit Buck.

[yarnivek1972]

Bases loaded walk coming.

[yarnivek1972]

So, would you hit for Castro?

I would. Vargas has to come into the game anyway.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Twins baseball!

[bighat]

Robbie G with the big base rap.

A little less urgent decision now

[bighat]

News on Detroit pitcher: non-displaced fracture of his leg on that Mauer zinger.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

I always rush to the game thread when the Twins take the lead.

What is wrong with me??

[stringer bell]

Just about everyone has contributed to the six runs scored. That is a good sign.

[yarnivek1972]

You have your foot on their neck. Don't let up.

Probably wouldn't have gotten a much better result than a fielder's choice RBI anyway.

[yarnivek1972]

So, what if Granite's spot comes up here yet? Let him hit or bring in Kennys?

[jimmer]

Kennys is going to come in on defense anyway, right?

I was thinking of bringing in Vargas to hit for Adrianza and then putting Granite in OF and Vargas at 1B

[yarnivek1972]

I would assume so. I suppose it could be Garver or Giminez. But Vargas easily has the most experience and he's arguably the most adept of the 3.

[Whammy]

If it's a righty coming in, no reason not to go with Kennys here

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Dead Man Walking

* out to the mound to make another Detroit pitching change

Adrianza is a pretty good hitter though. Castro has been better than expected, but he's still a poor career hitter.

[yarnivek1972]

Geez. Another wounded Tiger.

[twinssporto]

Everyone relax.  Twins own this!!!

[yarnivek1972]

OMFG!!

[bighat]

Granite with POWER!

[Don Walcott]

They should call this game before anyone else gets hurt.

Let 'em hit!

[sampleSizeOfOne]

I thought i just checked and we were down 3-2...

Not that i mind, mind you.

[yarnivek1972]

Let 'em hit!

Yeah, probably a good decision.

Probably more than just that
