wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Personally, I recommend taking up substance abuse. Much more effective than meditation.I'm far past that. I ran out of scotch a long time ago.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Try listening to a little AC/DC while you're at it.I've got Battery by Metallica on repeat.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 That's the sort of situational hitting that good teams possess.
S. Verified Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 This bullpen...and now we have a 90mph throwing Perkins added into the mix!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 **** ******** ******* the *******'ing *****.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 I vote they not sign any RPs in teh off season again. Worked well this year....
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Try listening to a little AC/DC while you're at it.Now I've got a Twisted Transistor...
big dog Verified Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Ryan Pressly, your plane to Rochester is boarding. But you can make Gibson carry your bag.
Jerr Verified Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 0-2 and serve it up.........................
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 That's the sort of situational hitting that good teams possess. That's the sort of 0-2 pitch bad teams throw.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 People who factored in to today's game that I don't want to see on the roster next year: GibsonBoshersPresslyMolitor
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 **** ******** ******* the *******'ing *****.Q-bert would like to give you a lesson.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 People who factored in to today's game that I don't want to see on the roster next year: GibsonBoshersPresslyMolitor Grossman too.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Don't you love it how people keep saying stuff like.... "but Pressly has good stuff......."
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Now he will get a strikeout. When the pressure is off. Good thing Molitor pulled Gee when he did, instead of letting him get stretched out.....
big dog Verified Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 There's just something about the way the Twins get slaughtered by good teams that makes me think maybe they aren't a good team. I dunno, might be something there.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 I didn't think that teams took BP between games of a double header...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 cleveland shoulda bunted.or fake bunted, so we could pick off the runner on 2nd.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 or fake bunted, so we could pick off the runner on 2nd.Hey, that's proven to be an effective strategy!
S. Verified Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 I vote they not sign any RPs in teh off season again. Worked well this year....Anything less than 3 non scrap heap relievers acquired this offseason is a failure. Also, spend some money and get Darvish. Realistically, no one in our bullpen this season should have a guaranteed spot next year.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 I'm still fine with Pressly being in the bullpen next year. Seriously. He DOES have good stuff, and they aren't going to replace everybody.I am NOT fine with Molitor. Let's not forget this inning starts with Boshers giving up a ringing single off the LF wall, and then a double to a RH hitter.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 At least we have Grossman in as a defensive replacement for Kepler in the 8th and 9th.
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS Houston went 3-for-4. He's hitting .333/.415/.505 (.920) since joining the Kernels. He added his fifth and sixth doubles. Explore Marek Houston News >
