Game Thread: Twins v White Sox, 6/21@7:10pm CT

[twinsnorth49]

It's a rough life, isn't it?

Well I do need a new recliner, back is a little tight.

[70charger]

Shallow and pedantic

Like Lois's lasagna.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Since I have no idea what this means, it must be POD.....

Not gonna get me that way. Chief has chastised me before for explaining my jokes.

And to tell the truth i just wanted to finish it, so i fell mildly short of my standard for coherence...

[DocBauer]

Sorry gang, late to the thread, watching the game on my tablet while doing home stuff.

Sorry if I missed if I missed it, but this Berrios kid looks pretty good!

[Blake]

Lol ... I do like to bake but I don't think I've ever made a cobbler as I'm more partial to a crisp

I can do crisp.*

*As in "burned to a crisp."

[Riverbrian]

I'm at the point now where I'd like to take Berrios by the heel and dip him in into the river Styx.

I won't be able because I don't think I'm strong enough to do it and I also don't want to get any Dennis DeYoung on him.

[Aggies7]

Absurd break on that last pitch. Unhittable.

[ashbury]

Buxton kind of caught that fly on the heel of his glove. He did an amusing double-take.

[jimbo92107]

Give Berrios a bar of soap - That slider was FILTHY.

[Squirrel]

Well I do need a new recliner, back is a little tight.

Check out Ekornes recliners. Nice brand, comfy, too.

[70charger]

Berrios was not uninterested.

[Squirrel]

Never! Blasphemer!

[Blake]

We'll be getting all the clean ones dirty during business hours so van has dishes to wash after hours. It's a very good business plan!

Van has already been promoted from sign twirler? Wow, he must be quite the go-getter!

[Vanimal46]

12 in a row, for Berrios! 12 in a row, for Berrios!! 12 IN A ROW, FOR BERRIOS!

[Vanimal46]

Berrios was not uninterested.

Do we know he was not not uninterested?!

[snepp]

Berrios was not uninterested.

Nor disinterested.

[Squirrel]

12 in a row, for Berrios! 12 in a row, for Berrios!! 12 IN A ROW, FOR BERRIOS!

I thought it was 13?

[twinsnorth49]

Berrios was not uninterested.

The White Sox seemed uninterested in hitting the ball.

[jimmer]

Instead of a 3rd freakin NY team, how about a Salt Lake team?

[David HK]

If ever i am involved in opening a cobbler shop, it should have "Sunshine" in its name.

Points for guessing the film.

Not a good idea. His Achilles Heel will always be his heel, then.

[Blake]

The White Sox seemed uninterested in hitting the ball.

The same can be said about fielding the ball.

It's really fun playing teams worse than the Twins. Nit so fun playing teams better, though.

[jimmer]

Stinks to lose Haula

[twinsnorth49]

Jinx is on you dude, put down the megaphone.

[Aggies7]

I agree with Bert. We don't need more teams, we need less. Tampa has a minuscule fan base and Oakland has been trying to get a new stadium for what seems like 20 years.

[Vanimal46]

Instead of a 3rd freakin NY team, how about a Salt Lake team?

Austin could use a pro team!

[jimbo92107]

Oh Chicago, your bad fielding is like a breath of fresh air...downwind from a pig farm.

[jimmer]

Oakland has too much history to lose their team.  Tampa would be an easy loss.

[Riverbrian]

And in order to maintain interest.

The game thread gets goofy on occasion

God I love Baseball!!!
