Although I sort of take exception to the idea that "much of Mexico City is third world." Are there a lot of people in poverty? Yes. It's a city twice the size of New York in a country that is less free than the U.S. But for better or for worse, the real wealth in the country is in CDMX, average incomes notwithstanding.

It would help if there were enough people to buy tickets- 37% of Puerto Ricans are on food stamps and the "official" unemployment rate is 15% (actually much higher) and the Commonwealth is on the brink of bankruptcy. In short, it's an economic basket case.
