Tibs Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 What would you rather have: Berrios no-hitter but Twins lose 1-0, or Berrios gives up 8 runs and Twins win 9-8And don't say yesNo hitter. It's just one game and if we actually want to compete this year Berrios has to be a part of it
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 You've got to be kidding me with that strike two to grossman
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 You've got to be kidding me with that strike two to grossmanBucknor.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Simply amazing how many managers, even vets like Francona, don't toss someone's behind on the bench for not even attempting to run out a play such as a dropped third strike like Santana just did. That ball probably rolled 25 feet from the plate
crapforks Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Mlb at bat has Berrios throwing a 4 seamer at 94 and 84. Is his change pretty straight?
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 OK, kid, throw about 6 more innings like that one!
amjgt Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 No hitter. It's just one game and if we actually want to compete this year Berrios has to be a part of itBerrios 7ip, 0r, 11K Or Buxton 4-4, 2HR

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 He certainly is jacked up for this. Also that curve was a strike
akmanak Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Decent first inning by Berrios. Let us score the kid some runs now.
amjgt Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Mlb at bat has Berrios throwing a 4 seamer at 94 and 84. Is his change pretty straight? The change he threw in the second AB was nasty
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 For those watching how did his stuff look today? Fastball is coming in at 93-95 with a lot of movement, missed his spot with that pitch a couple times but not in bad areas. Change has been nasty so far when he's thrown it and he probably should have gotten a strike three looking on the curve against Brantley.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Berrios 7ip, 0r, 11KOrBuxton 4-4, 2HRFor those of us of a certain vintage this is like the question: Ginger or Mary Ann? The answer, of course, is Ginger and Mary Ann.

The one called against Grossman and not calling the strike thrown by Berrios. In the first inning. If Buckner calls it the same all the way around, I don't much care. However, I doubt he will.

If their pitchtrack thing is to be believed, the curve to Brantley was outside.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 No. Lovie Howell, perhaps.Isn't she a little young for you?

BoofBonser Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Another very solid inning for Mr. Berrios
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 OK, kid, throw about 7 more innings like that one!FTFM.
