I picked a helluva game to come to.

Hopefully that is the LAST we will ever we gibson in a Twins uniform. Goes down as another bust in a long list of Twins first round busts.

It's beyond time to move on from Gibson.  Last winter was the time to cut ties with him.  He's now earning more than 5X what we had to pay him last year.  What a waste of 7 years.  The guy has no heart and no command.

So, yeah, Kyle Gibson.

 

How soon will Mejia be back in Minnesota? Two weeks? Three? The team can't continue to throw Gibson out there every fifth day.

Told everyone months before the season this would be the case. Guy has no biz being in the majors just like Santana. Between the two of them they have cost the Twins at least 5 games so far.

It must be hard to pull yourself away, but I'm glad you are going to try anyway... :)

Here's the kicker, in the Twins interview this morning, Gibson said he's not going to change his approach.

Kind of amazing he would say that.  If he was pitching like Ervin I could see that maybe.

Have a few micheladas for me. Some of the best I've ever had were on top of the Movich Hotel. Plus, it's pretty hard to beat that view.

Kyle Gibson is just not very good.

 

And that perfectly sums up the problem. If he were terrible, they would have moved on by now. But he's shown just enough flashes of potential to keep the Twins invested.

 

That, and the Twins' remarkable ability to find pitchers who make Gibson look good by comparison.
