  2. Wow that was an absolute dominant pitching performance from Hildenberger.
  3. Half of a game back! http://i.imgur.com/pfQuqln.png
  4. It wasn't pretty. Couldn't miss bats and it was getting out of hand the second time through the order.
  5. Not a terrible comparison. It comes from being RH starter with subpar fastball velo and a plus changeup.
  6. He's striking out 41% of all batters faced as a 22 year old in AA. How is this pitch to contact? He is currently a good depth reliever for the Twins with the upside for more. It will be interesting to see how his stuff translates to the MLB.
  7. The Orioles have their own forum, pretty similar in design/layout to this one actually. But It's one of the worst baseball forums I've seen, in terms of blatant homerism and unknowledgable fans..
  8. Just a side note but I loved Miguel Castro as a prospect with Toronto. His development was nuked by Alex Anthopoulos promoting him to MLB closer after pitching less than 30 innings in full season ball.
  9. http://i.imgur.com/8BLfxv7.png lol!
  10. Castro taking lessons from Chris Davis? http://i.imgur.com/dlalKKf.png
  11. Anyone else sold on Hildenberger? He's posted outstanding numbers at every level, and is now doing it in the MLB. Looks like he could be a pretty good reliever for us.
  12. I wish I understood the disdain about this signing.
  13. I don't know what else you would call them. Stewart went 4th overall and Jay 6th overall, and now, just a few years later, look like they have little to 0 chance of positively contributing to the MLB team. If that's not a bust I really don't know what is.
  14. I know people make jokes but I love this signing. Colon has been a remarkably consistent 2.5-3 win starter going back for 6 years prior to this. Don't know what the cause of his struggles were this season, but if he can figure it out, there is significant upside here, and little to no downside.
  15. Hildenberger looks pretty intriguing as a reliever..
  16. He's 23 and couldn't miss bats in the upper minors. There's a good chance his stuff may just not play. Not writing him off - but certainly not a good first impression, so far. I'd like to see Fernando Romero get a chance at some point.
  17. Jorge as per Berardino.
  18. I think Rooker is a great pick. That dude can hit and he could move quickly. And hopefully sign for underslot.
  19. We have to get someone good with these underslot savings or this is a massive failure.
  20. Rooker can hit. I like it. I'd prefer hitters to pitchers anyway. Don't care about drafting for need.
