Welcome one and all to the inaugural Twins Daily Game Thread live broadcast!

 

We're closing in on one hour to first pitch. I'll be keeping things brief in the intro this afternoon. Don't let that discourage you from checking in closer to game time, when you'll find a link at the bottom of this introduction that will bring you into the live broadcast. 

 

So, grab yourself a tasty beverage and find a comfortable seat, turn up those speakers and enjoy the game. 

 

A brief note: the site which hosts today's audio will offer a built in discussion board. Please ignore that and keep your discussion within the friendly confines of the Game Thread.

Oh pfft with the lineups ... I can't wait for Dinger live! Any shelter in a storm, as they say! :)

 

I'll be at work, so I especially will enjoy the game and thread.

Protecting Sano with Joe Mauer? That's got to stop. Same with Grossman as DH. With power bats like Vargas and Park available, it's time to get some pop in the order.

Make sure you know when the mike's live. You don't wanna Bert it up and have to "do that blankety blank all over again."

Right now Molitor is using the bullpen phone to call upstairs to get Derek and Thad to give DanSan a Trout-like extension ... can't risk that arm walking away.
