Well, it wasn't 12-1 as the established pattern required, but I'll take it. 

 

I was looking forward to 15-1, 18-1, and 21-1 vs. the White Sox, but come playoff time that game 1 score of 492-1 would be kind of boring.

Also, I can't help but be amazed that Sano only saw 9 pitches in this game. It looks like he's being more aggressive early in the count instead of working his way to full counts regularly. Sure as heck seems to be working out for him.

Also, Breslow was brought into the game and almost cost us some runs.

However, when Breslow came back into the dugout he gathered all his teammates and told a cautionary tale about his poor performance, with all the players nodding in unison. This is what good mentors do.

Sano looks great thus far. I think Buxton needs to get bumped down a little.

Rosario, LF

 

I love the idea of the speed at the bottom of the lineup when it turns over to Dozier. I'd also like to see Sano bumped up into the top 3 while he's hot (extra ABs, get him up in the first inning).

IIRC, the Twins swept the Angels in April for their first four wins after losing nine straight at the start.
