The Royals just don't look good. Maybe three hitters that you worry about, one good starter and a couple that are OK, and a bad bullpen. They're also loaded by a few long-term contracts that aren't looking good, so the future might be dim, also, unless they can get something for their upcoming free agents, who definitely will not get the Adam Eaton package. A sweep would be great, but might say more about the Royals than the Twins.

Damn good pitch, though. Not very efficient, but Gibson is definitely limiting damage so far. I'll take it for sure.

I didn't see the FoxTrax on it, but it sure looked like it tailed back over the corner.  Gibson is looking pretty good - I'm not sure who stole our pitching staff from last year and replaced them with look-alikes, but don't let them switch back.

Agree with this. And they have a pretty poor offseason. They'll have to be proactive with some trades, and if they don't hit on a couple of them it could be a long dark stretch.

 

But worth it for a ring.
