Game Thread: Twins vs Royals@Target Field - 4/6, 10:10am PT (Noon:10 CT)

Damn...i don't like this no pitch intentional walk. takes away the wild pitch possibility.

[hybridbear]

Castro made an out! That's shocking!

[MNTSchmitt]

I just want a sweep of the royals for my birthday today. Hoping it happens. I've got the broom ready.

[Mauerpower]

castro's having a terrible game..comparatively

[hybridbear]

Wow! Tied again... Gibson isn't doing well today.

[MNTSchmitt]

Left that one up in his kitchen.

[Circus Boy]

Why was santana throwing to second?

Because it was there.

Happy happy. I want that for your birthday, too.

Gibby wasn't too bad. 5 K's and only 1 HR that was hit off a bad pitch. That first homer by Perez, Gibby hit his spot and was a good pitch-Perez just got off a really good swing.

[gocgo]

It's just one game, but I think the new Kyle Gibson looks a lot like the old Kyle Gibson.

[rghrbek]

We've seen this Gibby before.  Hits in bunches.  Glad Molly got him out of there.

Will the Royals take the lead this half inning? 2 on with 0 outs...

[Mike Sixel]

Breslow slinging it up there at pretty slow speeds for a RP.....how do the pitches look?

[PopRiveter]

"The old spinaround"

I keep learning from Bert

[70charger]

To me, he's not looking great. A little wild, not overpowering stuff. I doubt that he was the correct reliever for this situation. 2 on, no outs, game tied. We need a fireman, not Breslow.

[70charger]

Good news though, that Pressly is warming in the pen.

I used to call the that "the ol' loop-de-loooo"

They look either like strikes or like they are nowhere near being strikes.

Nothing on the corners. (so far)

[MNTSchmitt]

Did Hughes go through with making his rib into a diamond ring?.....still shaking my head about that

[gocgo]

Did Dan-San throwing to the wrong bag cost us a run?  I know he was being held up until that throw, but was the next batter the 3rd out?

It did cost us a run.

[hybridbear]

Twins bullpen looks scary so far... Pressly worries me...

[gocgo]

It did cost us a run.

Ouch...looks kinda big right now.

[gocgo]

Whew!  Time to explode.  Let's go bats.

[Mauerpower]

Happy birthday!

Glad they put in Pressly when they did. That was a bad jam.

[Halsey Hall]

Well, we got out of that mess.
