Blake Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Author Posted April 5, 2017 Late to the party, but I don't know how you got through that intro without posting this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxYsgRsNg2sAncient Sumaria is a little more contemporary for me.
James Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 What are the odds Santiago keeps up this no-hitter?
Jerr Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Here's a bit of math homework. Worth a million bucks. **mn I knew this would happen!!!!!But, upside.... it's a video I won't even ask how you, even know it is on the internet!
spinowner Provisional Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 These Royals remind me of the 1993 Twins. 2 years after a world championship but no chance of success
MNTSchmitt Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Really scary start to the year if you're a Buxton fan. Pretty much the worst possible first 7 ABs the kid could have. It's the second game of the year. Some stars have had really bad slow starts and turn around. I'm not gonna worry yet. Concerned a little? Yes....Time to throw him down..no.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Hector not pitching bad, but 72 pitches thru 4 innings isn't exciting.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 **mn I knew this would happen!!!!!But, upside.... it's a video I won't even ask how you, even know it is on the internet!I just searched for Riemann Zeta Function, of course.

Winston Smith Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Everyone get on the Robbie Grossman bandwagon!! Happy birthday Mike!
MNTSchmitt Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 If Sano doesn't cut that off, is the play at the plate close enough to be an out?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 They guy helping me on Amazon has the name "Lanred". Odds this is his real name?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 If Sano doesn't cut that off, is the play at the plate close enough to be an out?Don't think so. Rosario didn't get off a strong throw.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 so, mlb.com is in English, but when I go to gameday, it reverts to spanish again....while it might be occasionally entertaining, not sure I need it every game.Via app or website? My Gameday app follows the device language, so it's in English on my iPad, but in Spanish on my iPhone. The audio always defaults to English though & then I have to choose the Spanish transmission.

It would appear that at one point I clicked on the language button in the upper right corner, but only gameday moved to Spanish. I have toggled it back and forth, and I think I got it now....Now I get to decide if I want English (native), Spanish, or English (translated from Spanish).
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I might be in the minority here, but I have high hopes for Santiago. I know he can loose command at the drop of a hat, but the guy has big league stuff. A lot to work with there, as opposed to guys who can throw strikes all day long, but can't generate swings and misses, or even weak swings.

hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Buxton put the ball in play! Shocking!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I think he's a legit 4....I think he's potentially a legit 2.
James Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I think he's potentially a legit 2. Well, then I think he's a legit 3. http://www.americanehr.com/blog/wp-content/uploads//2012/01/Ratings.jpg
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I think he's a legit 4.... I think he's potentially a legit 2. I hope he's a legit #2 while with the Twins ... and a legit #4 wherever else he lands. Compromise is always a good thing. Just stopping by ... brief lunch break.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Author Posted April 5, 2017 I think he's potentially a legit 2. Otherwise known as a "Twins #1 starter........................"
MNTSchmitt Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Dozier flashing the glove! I really hope he sticks around. I know we can use him for trade value later if we aren't competitive, but still-He has always been a favorite of mine since his start with us.
Guest Guests Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Early impressions are that KC is going to be looking for buyers for Cain, Hosmer, Moustakas, etc., and regretting signing Gordon. Only three pitchers left from their World Series roster, just two years later.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I think he's potentially a legit 2. well, there are like 10 1s, you think he's one of the top 20-30 pitchers in MLB? No way. I love the optimism, but no way. ESan is a 2/3 or 3/2. I don't think Santiago is that good.
flatlanddad Verified Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 "Watching" at work through gameday. How are Buxton's at-bats looking today? How hard hit was his last out?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Also, here something that should make everyone happy: White Sox Nearing Deal With Mike PelfreyThe White Sox are really embracing rebuilding mode. I'm glad to see that they're going to give us some free wins.
