Blake Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) Were you on the same call?! There's nothing that loses my interest more than listening to corporate jargon. You could tell the man was reading line for line off of a script on how this software's going to be GREAT! You guys just run the software. Whereas guys like me have to listen to your complaints about the software and then try to figure out how to get it running while wondering why corporate even bothered to involve the IT department in the purchase process unless it was to spread the blame. Not that I'm bitter or anything..... Edited June 7, 2016 by Blake Riverbrian, Vanimal46 and Craig Arko 3

70charger Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Can confirm, did a gator boat tour in New Orleans last weekend. Turns out they don't care for beek jerky though, who knew. 100% true. I did a similar (same? was your guide Reggie?) thing just south of New Orleans. Coolest part wasn't even the fact that a bunch of gators came out to chomp down on marshmallows, it was driving to the bayou docks, coming around a bend on a dirt road, and seeing a bald eagle standing in the road eating its prey. Those things are huge! The gators were cool too. Riverbrian 1
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Sounds like you guys have way more productive plans in New Orleans than me. I usually don't make it out of Bourbon Street. Especially after a few hurricane cocktails... Riverbrian 1

70charger Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Let me guess: "Our software is a turnkey solution" with "seamless integration" for "efficient management of company resources." Whoa. I'm just gonna say it. This guy ****s! Am I right? Cuz I'm looking at the rest of you guys... (Anyone who hasn't seen Silicon Valley should check it out. Worth a few laughs.)
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I think we need to stage an intervention. If following the Twins make you think about serial killers, I'd suggest a different hobby... or different sport.Only when John Ryan Murphy was catching. Riverbrian 1

Blake Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Tonight, I get to see if the new wireless router I set up makes a difference in my ability to stream MLB.tv to my television. The old wireless router just wasn't cutting it.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I had this thought while on a conference call this afternoon: If they were to make a Nunez bobble head, would they make it with his batting helmet on? Batting helmet almost falling off his head? Or a helmet that falls off when you bobble it?I already had this idea: the Eduardo Nunez bobble hat doll. The answer is that it's a helmet on a string. It's like a cup and ball toy. David HK, Platoon, Vanimal46 and 3 others 6
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I'd also like to add that the Gardy Gnome was an idea I just sat on for like three years before they started selling them at the ballpark. We won't let that happen again. HitInAPinch, Riverbrian, Blake and 1 other 4

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 How come the article is titled "Twins V Marlins 5/7" and the forum is titled Twins V Marlins 6/7"? Am I time traveling and just don't know it? Riverbrian 1
