Knee + Escobar's #'s against Smiley. That said, Plouffe should be DH'ing instead of Park. 

Why rest Plouffe today, against a LHer?

Unless he's hurt, these are the kinds of decisions that make no sense to me.

Back at that time it was, "Don't trust anyone over 30." After about 20 years it was, "Don't trust anyone under 30."

At this point, I go with 'don't trust anyone until they have earned it.'

Think about what just happened. 2 fielding gaffes, 1 being a tailor made DP that would have ended the inning, your 2 and 3 hitters up....and a pop out and strike out
