Well, maybe if all these threads are for is posting silly jokes and goofy pictures, maybe you should start charging members to post. That way, you can weed out the people who's posts you don't enjoy.

I guess that would be fun to listen to, game after game, if you are the type who likes listening to skipping needles on broken records.

I think the point is who needs Jack when we have a few here who subject us to that game after game. We've given it some lenience, because, well ... But the worst of it will no longer be tolerated.

Twins have 5 LOB through 2 innings, that is a great illustration of their offensive incompetence.

 

So you're saying 0 LOB would be better?    ;)

 

All I'm really looking forward to is the day they flip the lineup and Buxton and Kepler are at the top.

Lemme ask ya on honest question. The team is 16-39...there are very few posters here any more to begin with...there is truly very little to post about on-field wise that is positive...how many ways can you say the team is bad without drawing your ire? Or should I just make corny jokes about it? I don't get it, nothing being said is THAT egregious

These threads used to be fun ... win or lose ... they were fun. That was kind of their point. To kind of give the feeling of sitting out in the bleachers watching a game with your buddies. The point is we ALL KNOW HOW BAD THE TWINS ARE ... these threads are supposed to give us SOME RELIEF from that, just a little. You don't need to make negative or disparaging comments at every single ****ing turn. Everyone has been told to just lighten up a little because it's already bad enough. Don't drag down the threads ... we have a myriad of other threads that are highlighting the woes of this team, and it's well-deserved highlighting, imo. But geez ... lighten up already. And let the rest of us try to have a little fun at a game.

How about just nothing? Let me spell it out, some of the members here come to enjoy the game thread while watching the game, they are fully aware how bad this team is without you droning on about it on virtually every play. We often have likened the game thread to sitting in the bleachers watching the game with some friends. Unfortunately there is always someone in the vicinity who just seems hell bent on ruining it for others because they won't shut up, about the same things.

 

How many ways can you say the Twins suck? Good grief man, try to get some perspective and spare us all the broken record.

What's bizarre about the bases loaded incompetence of the Twins is that things should regress to the mean at some point. Yet, the lack of scoring continues.

 

Of course, I would imagine opposing teams are well aware of the fact they're playing with fire.

What's wrong with the 3B coach that he wasn't watching the ball to know that Buxton could have scored?!?!?

 

Man, that would have been fun to see ... a 2nd in-the-parker in the same series. Would he have made it?

Aggie, I gotta tell ya I've been skipping out of Game Day Threads just for these reasons.  And I'm pretty sure others are for the same reason, as well.  We're not blind to what's been going on with the Twins.  I just enjoy watching the games and chatting with those who do.  Ok?
