Blake Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Well, shoot, I thought the Twins might win this one. Obviously, I'm not surprised at the outcome, but still.....
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I can't believe we have forty losses on June 5th!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Well, then I have to wonder why you guy's even here?Instead of 0-9 I could've said 16-39 then it wouldn't have sounded as bad!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Gophers baseball leading wake forest, 4-0 in the 5th. So there's that.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Good thing we don't have to face Jose Fernandez next series! He went 7 innings today & had 14 strikeouts.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I get technology to ignore things for me?My, how far we have come...Fire->Wheel->Baseball->Ignore List. It's a logical progression.
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Maybe I saw this wrong. I was busy today, tivod the game, and watched it on fast forward. Did we sac bunt Nunez with a guy on first and no outs to get to BD? And after the inevitable did I see Mauer get walked to get to Park? Followed by the inevitable. Or do I have this mixed up with my granddaughters ten year old softball coaches decisions?

Platoon Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Aggie, I gotta tell ya I've been skipping out of Game Day Threads just for these reasons. And I'm pretty sure others are for the same reason, as well. We're not blind to what's been going on with the Twins. I just enjoy watching the games and chatting with those who do. Ok? Frankly I don't like them either, but I just ignore them. Nowadays it's almost the only way to survive!

S. Verified Member Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 What exactly does Chargois have to do to get called up? We could throw him right into the closer position and i don't think it could be worse than Jepsen. I can't say I was paying much attention to the game, but I'm pretty sure Dick said something about opposing batters hitting over .330 against Jepsen. I'd look into it but the internet has more enjoyable things to offer me.
