The guy has been absolute batting practice for months and has an ERA of 6. He is literally our worst reliever right now, but he's our closer because the manager is stubborn. Pathetic.

Can't have a 9th inning guy that can only throw one pitch for a strike. Or really any inning guy

We don't want to use Abad, our best pitcher. Jepsen and Hughes will get the job done. 

Hughes is warming in the bullpen? What!?

Jack is correct...a good FB on the inside corner would have gotten both of the last two hitters.

 

And that seems to me as much on Suzuki as Jepsen.

This ump has been giving the low strikes today against Beckham. Maybe he'll strike out again on a pitch below the knees. The ump must think Beckham's knees are down by his ankles.
