Gladden:  "Twins in the midst of a little bit of a skid...lost their last six and 9 of their last 10."   What would a medium sized skid look like, Danny?

Why would you spend a dollar on that?

I'm worried the next time the Twins win, he might be back in a presidential race.

When the Twins started 0-9

I was thinking... OK... No Problem... One big winning streak and we are back in this thing.

Today... I'm thinking... That big winning streak is going to have to be Kevin Bacon Esque.

They just need to go 7-3, 7-3, 7-3, and 7-3 over the next quarter of the season.  That'll get 'em back to .500

Then 7-3, 7-3, 7-3, and 7-3 over the quarter after that, and they're solidly in contention for the ALC.

Despite multiple nominees for the "honor"... the Arcia game-losing reverse bicycle kick is my season of futility OF highlight/lowlight thus far. (And I emphasize thus far, so many more muffing chances before 2016 is finally put to bed).

indeed, the twins season is running parallel to a key scene in the simpson's movie.

bart: this is the worst day of my life.

homer: you mean the worst day of your life SO FAR.

This is still the gold standard

Yeah... but that was only in an exhibition game, so it doesn't count...

He likely has what the medical community refers to as "Not a good pitcher" syndrome. Unfortunately "Not a good pitcher" syndrome has cost many a player a career, Shooter Hunt, Kyle Loshe and Sean Bergman to name a few.

Oh, so he just has a case of the Klingenbecks?

With the rain this assures Hughes won't get more than 3 IP, I'm sure the delay is coming soon

It looks like it's going to just skirt Minneapolis based on the radar.

(Full disclosure....I'm following the radar because I have golf league later....)
