Why am I not surprised? Couldn't they have someone better at one of those spots in the lineup?

Bautista has to be a little nerve wracking to pitch to with Encarnacion behind him in the #4 spot. 

 

Edwin would be like that Semenko guy for the Oilers.

The graphic says that Hawkins has a save against every MLB team but the Twins. 

 

It took Kyle Lohse a couple of tries... I'm feeling a vibe here.

So I ran into this picture on the internet just now, and I was reminded of you here on Twins Daily and thought that Brian and Bark might get a kick out of this ... that is, if either one of them sees it. I mean, something's been done to the eyes, and something must be done to change this game. The Olsen Twins are gone, but if there's any power in the eyes .... We need to rally now ... whatever it takes .....

Just tuned in (a little late to the party). Watching Hawkins... I remember going to spring training in 1994 and seeing two young pitchers throwing on adjacent mounds-- Hawkins and Guardado. And they're both in the stadium tonight.
