Good to see you back bro. I want to hear about Primanti Brothers. Tell me about it. I turn 40 on Monday and I need something to be hopeful about. :)

Primanti Brothers was good but I gotta recommend not using Hamburger or Steak as the meat of choice.

 

The Sweetness (for lack of a better description) of the Cole Slaw clashes with the beef flavor.

 

The Ham Primanti... Was wonderful.

The Sweet Cherries (we always called them Bing) are really good right now.

 

Although I think you moved to the sour cherry state.  We'll all be expecting a pie.

Blueberries are big in this part of the state. I didn't buy them because they were more purple than blue.

Primanti is a novelty, and not much more.  Underwhelming, from the hype.

Yeah.. I can make them at home... Just dump everything on a dinner plate in between two slices of bread and you got a Primanti.

 

Glad I went though... Just to say I did.

Yep, you've got to try it just because it is interesting.  I've been many times, but haven't found any "wow" combination.  In fact I like the loaded fries best.

The Iconic food winner for my road trip was the Lobster in Maine.

 

2nd was the Pastrami at Katz in New York

I have to say... that is a food dream destroyed. That is the only reason I would go to Pittsburgh.

On another serious baseball note, Brian Dozier has the second-best OPS of AL second basemen. I think he deserves an All-Star spot.

Occasionally doesn't suck defensively, to boot.
