Platoon Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I thought that I was climbing a hill in ND once, but it turned out to be the Buxton exit off I29! What really surprised me is that they named a town after him in ND. But I was more surprised there was no Brianville! I do think we should look at the bright side of the Twins season! Just imagine if they were scoring any runs! The games would take forever. OR! The Twins have acquiesced to a request by MLB to limit their scoring to help speed up the games. Think of it, what would you rather see? Another commercial for a pickup truck? Or the Twins scoring a couple useless runs when already down by 7! ashbury, Dman and glunn 3

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Yeah....keep those positive thoughts and puppy pictures coming. The breeder said she has a 1 year warranty. Wonder if I could turn her in if they don't win tonight? Rally Puppy!!! James, Willihammer, DocBauer and 1 other 4
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Any way to capture a photo of her with a Twins cap on? And, if truly a rally puppy, with a turned-inside-out Twins cap on? glunn and Jerr 2

woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 That's the first lead for the Twins in 2015, first RBI for a Twins' player in 2015, and first lead for Molitor as a manager! glunn 1

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Time for some positivity, everybody! I think the Twins are gonna win today! We got the bases loaded in the 1st inning! glunn 1
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 What a rally. I guess we should be happy with one run.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 We lead in the game!!!!omg ... do you want to jinx us????? Fer cryin' out loud, man! ashbury and James 2
James Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 And Milone with a strikeout! glunn and ashbury 2
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Milone is wild, but at least wild down according to gameday. glunn 1
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Pretty ticky-tack balk call. If TPTB in baseball want to speed up the game, we want to encourage a quick delivery to the plate.
James Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Mauer takes the old base on balls. All Twins fans are shocked. ashbury 1
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 For the past few seasons, the Twins have surprised me with their lackluster performances with the bases loaded. It looks like that pattern is gonna continue into this year...
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Uh, twice, back to back innings? Or am I not seeing that correctly.......
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) Mauer takes the old base on balls. All Twins fans are shocked. Might have done something different if he was given more than one pitch that deserved to be swung at. Hey, who has the first RBI of the season for the Twins and the 1st run scored? :-) Edited April 10, 2015 by jimmer
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 This is hard to watch. Baseball at it's worst.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) But hey, Hunter was aggressive with his swinging. Created an out, also didn't score anyone, and didn't extend an inning, but aggressive. :-) Edited April 10, 2015 by jimmer Dantes929 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Let's see, if they strand three per inning for nine innings....pretty sure that will set a record. ashbury, Mike Sixel and glunn 3

Hey, who has the first RBI of the season for the Twins and the 1st run scored? :-)That was supposed to be a joke. I will never complain about a Twins player taking a walk. Mike Sixel and jimmer 2
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 That was supposed to be a joke. I will never complain about a Twins player taking a walk. I think I was joining in on the joke. Should have made that more clear. My bad.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Nice play by Dozier and another strikeout for Milone. 1-0 after two. glunn 1

Hey, who has the first RBI of the season for the Twins and the 1st run scored? :-) I suspect, at least for awhile, Mauer might have a few at bats where the pitcher is not going to worry about walking him for fear of who is batting behind him. glunn, Mike Sixel and bird 3
