It must be so relaxing for an opposing pitcher to pitch against the Mauer-less Twins. If Dozier doesn't lead off with a homer or Pinto doesn't catch up to one, you should get a shutout if your defense doesn't let you down. If Escobar or Suzuki finds their way on, there is always a Florimon or Hermann to kill the rally coming up next. And the middle of the order doesn't even swing so they aren't really a threat at this point.

You know, I try to be as upbeat as possible. I try to look for good news. I don't always agree with things the team does, but I recognize there are lots of issues to consider and I don't know them all.

 

But this roster is completely nuts. We need to find a couple more relievers who played CF in high school, I guess.

Herrmann isn't going anywhere, he's one of the one and a half healthy outfielders the Twins have on their 40-man.
