gocgo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 (Jumping up and Down) Hey everyone... Come back.... (Waiving arms)... Hey everyone... Herrmann got a hit... I have seen the future of Twins baseball...and his name is Chris Hermann.
big dog Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I'm liking Santana a lot. I hope we get to see him some more. For example, I hope we get to see him cross home plate in the next five minutes.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 Atta Boy... Drive that run in.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 I have seen the future of Twins baseball...and his name is Chris Hermann. He's my second favorite Munster
S. Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Herrmann things to work on Checklist: We may want to add baserunning to it.Probably easier to just find a new job in a different field, and I don't mean in left field instead of right field.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Since we'll be chattering incessantly about him, maybe we can save time and shorten his name to Dan Tanna... http://www.thrillingdetective.com/images/dan_tanna.jpg
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 We are in good shape... Herrmann will be up again.
gocgo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I'll say this. I have been more entertained by Twins baseball this year than I think I was all of last year. They don't say die.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 We are in good shape... Herrmann will be up again. In relief? Butera-esque!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 There is no game thread. I'm going to go grab lunch. But you'll miss the big ral... Nevermind.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in... I have to say that these games are all very close - they are figuring out how to compete despite the rube goldberg roster
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Oh well... Back to a 3 run lead. But i like the outfield assist at second... on a force out. (is that the dark side of the force out?)

Its on the Checklist... See below 1. Keeping hands back in the load position.2. Early location and Pitch Recognition.3. Front foot stride timing4. Short stroke with follow through5. Pitch calling and the art of setting up the hitters. 6. Soft hands and subtle framing7. Early pitch location recognition and mobility behind the plate. 8. Flyball tracking 9. Bar Ownership and the management of your employees10. Baserunning
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Gutsy performance by Swarzie. The balls just weren't finding the gloves.

Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 You know, Kubel looks amazing in the outfield by comparison to everybody else that's gone out there. Silly team, they thought he'd be the DH out of spring.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Nice grab by Kubel reminds us that he's their best defensive outfielder at the moment.
deanlambrecht Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 This is easily the most depressing game of the season. To date. /bangs head

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Scott Atchinson looks terrible for being 38
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Scott Atchinson looks terrible for being 38But effective against my favorite team
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Hey! This new pitcher for the Twins looks familiar!

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 After praising Santana, Dick spouts the heretical notion that maybe a contender should have, like, a regular shortstop or something. Has he announced his retirement?
