Twins starting pitching really letting team down. Over 5 ERA since all star break, only the A's are worse.

Just got back from the game so haven't read any of the comments. I place this loss 100% on Shelton for the 6th inning. Not having a lefty warmed up with the 4 LH batters at the top of the order coming up is just managerial malpractice. Kremer obviously lost the strike zone and should have been pulled after Schwarber walked. But by the time Funderburk was ready the damage was done. It put Philly right back in the game. This was a huge nail in the coffin.

This was their big trade. He's got to be better than this.

Kremer was around 65 pitches and had allowed only 3 hits through 5 IP, no reason to have anybody warming. Yes he fell apart pretty quickly, but it also takes time for a RP to get loose.

Kremer was the big trade?  No he wasn't he was a depth piece which is providing more than anyone here has expected.  he had 1 bad inning that I think Shelton should have consider 5 innings a win and gone to a reliever but thats me.
