Josh Bell in 17 games has scored 15 runs and has 14 rbi.  He is on pace for 143 runs and 133 rbi's.  

He has done this in 56 plate appearances. 

Tristan Gray has 11 rbi in 22  plate appearances.

Through 17 games the Twins have 265 at-bats vs. left handed pitching. Through their first 17 games the Detroit Tigers have 51 at-bats vs. left handed pitching.

The last place team in the NL Central (Brewers - .542) has a higher winning percentage than the first place teams in both the AL Central (Guardians/Tigers - .538) and AL West (Rangers/Athletics - .520)

It feels like Luke Keaschall has left an insane number of batters on base over the last couple weeks.

He has. In the last 2 weeks he's left 29 men on base, which is 5th most in the league. However Ian Happ has an even more insaner 42 men left on base in the last 2 weeks. 42. Wow.

For the season, Keaschall is tied for 6th in the league with 51 total LOB, which is the most on the Twins. BUT... Wallner has more LOB per AB than Keashall. 

Wallner has 0.59 LOB/AB (7th highest in MLB), whereas Keaschall has 0.52 LOB/AB, which is tied with Caratini for 2nd most on the team.

If there is 1 out and a player on 1B, if the batter hits into a double play, does that count as a player left on base?

Connor Phillips, a young relief pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, didn’t have his sharpest stuff on Saturday, you could say. 

Phillips came in to pitch for the Reds in the second inning of Pittsburgh’s 17-7 win over Cincinnati (insert Steelers-Bengals joke) and walked all four batters he faced before being pulled. But the story gets worse. He had come in to relieve the starting pitcher who had walked the first three batters of the inning. 

So yep, Pittsburgh drew seven consecutive base on balls. 🙃

A third pitcher was brought in, and on the 42nd pitch of the inning, a ball was finally put in play— an RBI groundout.

All told, 5 runs on 0 hits for the Pirates in that inning.

Update: Skenes’ ERA is now a career high 1.98 after 9 starts this year.

Austin Martin is seven plate appearances short of qualifying for percentage stats like batting average and slugging average. Even if he went 0-7 reaching base, he would still have the highest OBP in Major League baseball.

Not to get all serious or anything, but for things like regular batting titles I believe they still have a rule that covers situations like that if it played out that way at the end of the season.

That is correct. The last time there was big discussion about the rule was when George Brett had his monster year and hit .390. It wasn't certain he would get to the required 502 plate appearances and everyone was informed that he wouldn't need to because he was so far ahead of everyone else.
