This is exactly the challenge. Bottom of the ninth, tie game or trailing by a run, Runner at 3B with 1 or 2 outs. A strikeout is one of the worst outcomes.

The NHL doesn't do shoot-outs or 3-on-3 hockey in the play-offs , they play 5-on-5 until a goal is scored.

Talking about playoff games beats rehashing the Twins 2025 season. Baseball Think Factory is dead and there is no other good place to discuss MLB as a whole. I thought I might enjoy discussing those games here with the people who follow Twins Daily. Your remark makes me reconsider that.

They write about something every day. I thought writing about the playoffs, the most interesting thing happening in baseball right now, would be better than a dozen articles speculating about the new manager.

I also think them writing about the Vikings would be better than a dozen articles speculating about the new manager. That’s what you’re asking out of them. It’s a Twins specific site, I don’t know what to tell you.

I sort of remember him making a huge error against the Astros in Covid year playoffs. Could be wrong.
