I had a premonition when they showed the mariner fans watching in Seattle, and they said “this is the closest they’ve ever been.” And everyone was smiling. I had a bad feeling when they said that. Like when Chester Taylor had the big run to get into field goal range against the saints in the NFCCG. Ominous,

I’ve got nothing against the Blue Jays… But it’s easy to empathize with Mariners fans as a Minnesota sports fan. All we know is heart break and never getting over the final hurdle. At least Seattle has a Super Bowl title to celebrate.

That is true. I keep thinking karma is going to help us if I empathize or celebrate with some of these teams that haven’t won in a while or ever. Doesn’t seem to work that way 😂😂

I had to look it up to see the Jays were in both 92 and 93 WS. Morris had a bad year in 93 compared to 91 and 92.

Fun fact: the Blue Jays have played more games this postseason (7-4) than the Dodgers (9-1) even though they had a first-round bye

I'll be pulling hard for the Blue Jays to hopefully at least give us a competitive series.  If they can get the series back to Toronto for Halloween, they'll have done well.

But I think we all know how this is gonna end.  This version of the Dodgers is a force of nature

Best thing long term for baseball is the LAD steamroll through the WS this year and next.  Maybe then the PTB will realize that the payroll imbalance must be addressed in the next CBA.

We are in complete alignment here. Just wait until the offseason when they sign Kyle Tucker, Framber Valdez, and Edwin Diaz just because they can.

I don't for one minute think the dodgers winning effects any decisions by the players union. The owners will use it as PR for a salary cap though. And fans will believe the owners just wan't to do the right thing, not screw over the people than fans supposedly care about.
