Gasper is not a major league baseball player. He may pose as one and wear rhe uniform. Wasted at bats on a fringe player at best.

Gaspar...strangest darn thing. It's as if someone owes him a favor or something. He reminds me of the coach's son in Little League who made the team even though he couldn't touch a ball against the pitching machine in tryouts, and got to play short and bat leadoff all year even though he stunk. He may be a good story (drafted in the 27th round!) but he's not a good player. His only hit so far didn't even leave the infield--yes?

Watch the Twins DFA Alcala and he get's fixed somewhere else. Alway's happens that way with the Twins. I know he is broken right now. Someone will eventually figure out how and what role to use Alcala in. He has the talent for this game.

It's funny that the Twins always have their OWN Micky Gasper, whether it's Keirsey, or Michael Helman or Jair Camargo or Chirs Williams or Mark Contreras, but they have no interest in giving those guys a look unless they absolutely have to.

But you get some other team's Gasper or Andrew Stevenson or Ryan Lamarre, oh boy, we found a diamond in the rough here fellas, wait until the league sees what we do with this guy!

The grass is always greener with this club.

I think you're seeing mold, not grass

Gleeman tweeted the attendance announced at the game is 12,900. People are speaking with their wallets. The product on the field is unacceptable

How cold is it there? Over here in the east it’s been absolutely miserable this entire month. March was warmer. Can’t imagine it’s very comfortable out in MN. As bad as it seems, the twins are 22nd in avg attendance (definitely SSS only having played 3 games). But baseball starts too damn early. And it was even earlier this year. Nobody wants to watch cold outdoor baseball at night in April in the north. But yes the product also blows which doesn’t help one bit

They could legitimately be looking at losing $50-75 million this year. Good. They deserve it. Take the best offer you can and sell the $%% team already.

According to reports the team is already $300+ million in the hole, add another $50 million to that and nobody will ever want to buy this team.

I know this is facetious, but it's odd how the lethargic nature of this club is seemingly being pinned primarily on the manager when there are players who are constantly praised for their leadership, preparedness, ect.

I have and will never praise a player for their leadership. With this club, that trait seems to be used almost exclusively to excuse either a bad player or a regrettable contract.

I only care what these guys do on the diamond, and that's how it should be.

Just like Wallner leading off.

FYI, coming into this game Wallner had a .388 OBP and the next closest is .320 OBP. Whomever you're putting in the #1 spot is getting on base significantly less than Wallner is.

I’m on the west coast for vacation this week so can’t verify but it says 50 degrees currently at 10:30 PM. I’d say that’s more than acceptable for April 11. It’ll be 70 degrees for both games this weekend so that will be the true test

This! Rocco's pet. The third catcher stuff is utter nonsense. Worse than having a Punto or Hocking. At least those guy's could pick it and had speed. You know brought actual value to the game. Hocking and Punto didn't bring much offense, but they were really good defensive players.

Nah. They're worth $1.5 billion. The Pohlads can take that, pay off the $350 and still have a billion dollars left over. Dad paid $35 million for them.

Truly. Not even halfway through April and we’re buried in the standings. Good thing I got practice last year not watching them for months. I’ll be doing the same during the dog days of summer

Invest in a paddle board and meet us on the lakes (if there isn't another E.coli issue) this summer.

You guys use the lakes as toilets over there?
