The owners need to grow a pair and take down the union. For the good of the game. One reason the NFL thrives is because the owners neutered the NFL players union. When a cap is suggested, the players ask to see the books, ask for transparency, and the owners say no. They say no to a floor, too. There are two sides, and BOTH owners and players have to come to the table willingly on this and neither side does. And I don’t believe it’s good for the game to revert poor conditions because that’s what will happen. Cory Engelhardt, Mike Sixel and The Great Hambino 3

And McCaughan was signed to a minor league contract, let’s hope he stays there or is let go.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Two straight subpar outings for Festa. I know it's early, but he may drop back a spot or two in the pecking order. Matthews' injury on Thursday also might change who is in line to get starts and make it clearer that Woods Richardson and Paddack start the season as #4 and #5 in the Twins' rotation.

I'm with you 90% of the time Chief, this is very much in that 10% zone. About 1/5 of the league's teams exist to let their owners collect piles of cash without fielding a competitive team. Players looking to maximize their pay (they ARE the reason we watch) is only fair. Like Squirrel stated, owners don't want anyone seeing their books and a huge amount of them don't want a spending floor. stringer bell, Squirrel and Mike Sixel 3
