Exactly, we already have a below average utility person, WIlli Castro. On an unrelated topic, it was interesting how Cory P was surmising how some of the pitchers may be down after the work the last couple days.  If you're not available for an elimination game, I don't want you on the team.  And if the coaches/managers are shutting you down, they need to go as well.

Coaches/manager need to go period.

Kind of awesome that we need to sweep the O's, and have the White Sox sweep the Tigers.. LOL... 🤣

101 RBI.  What are those?

You mean there are players out there who can get clutch hits driving in runners already in scoring position?  Seriously?

Perish the thought!

Nice to let opponent jump out to a lead again

Anybody have a stat on this? Certainly seems like every game we’re playing from behind.

When you have as difficult a time scoring runs as we do, scenarios like that tend to happen a lot.

Lopez and Ober sure seem to have a lot of trouble keeping the damn ball in the yard.

Cowser, 151 games, 552 PAs coming into tonight.

Baltimore must never play teams with LH pitching.

Or maybe they've figured out something that's completely gone over the heads of our "brain trust".

And I use the term "brain trust" very loosely here.

Some don't like AJ, but his synopsis matches many comments posted on this site.

AJ Pierzynski Puts Minnesota Twins on Epic Blast (msn.com)

I did not realize that the Twins odds of making the playoffs went from 95% on Sept. 1 and now is 3%. I am unsure who makes those numbers, but it sounds accurate.

AJ was a little too abrasive for the twins at the time. Of course they got a haul for him in the trade but I think we could use some tough guys now like him who could play, and at an important position. But we like guys who fake taking pictures behind the mound after a big mid-June win, or putting a silly vest on when they homer.

Did we win yet?

'Buddy our Twins are going all the way this year, and if you keep looking into the woods over there, pretty soon you'll see the World Series victory parade going by.

No more slumps, no more blown leads. Everybody is happy.

Just keep looking... over that way.'

Braves sweeping the Royals is probably a smidge more likely than the White Sox sweeping the Tigers (or even Toledo, for that matter).

True.  But, we seemingly have no clue on how to do that.

Jeffers is painful to watch. He can't stay away from the high heat like Rocco can't stay away from pinch hitting Margot.
