He's just a little late in joining the crowd. You still manage to win the game at this point in the season. He should be fired immediately after the game. Cave Bear 1

Shouldn't someone have kicked some serious ass at some point, or even tossed some bats into the shower? What manner of man could oversee such a colossal failure day after bloody day with only the slightest ripple of emotional reaction? I've had enough of The Automaton! Give me someone for whom winning is flesh and blood..."the gun breech hot to the touch." They badly need a fire and brimstone type of manager. Rocco definitely isn't it. knothole61 and Parfigliano 2

Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 It’s a good thing we didn’t have anything to play for tomorrow. Kudos to Pablo for coming out for the 6th even though he was at 95 pitches. Let’s hurry up and get out of the game. Can Willi come in and pitch yet? IndyTwinsFan 1

So, in my mind, they're definitely implicated. jaimedude 1

OvertheHill Verified Member Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 There’s no disgrace in losing to a clearly superior team. There’s disgrace in the effort and execution of this team over the past TWO MONTHS. Parfigliano, knothole61, LaBombo and 1 other 3 1

Kudos to Pablo getting out-dueled by Cade Povich in an absolute must win or season over game. Lopez was a big reason the Twins struggled this year. The "ace" managed to put together a solid season for a #4 pitcher. Thankfully, we've got several more years at only $22MM coming up. Cave Bear, Hubie29 and Jocko87 1 2
