Good job Pablo. Hello bats, are you out there?

They are, but they're all sound asleep, pretty much like they've been since mid-August.

Novel concept...getting a base hit with the bases loaded and nobody out.

Hopefully, they are taking notes. They can apply this yet tonight or maybe in the next couple games or maybe next season.

Rocco sticking with Funderburk... interesting

Probably because Funderderk didn't earn his way back, and yet here he is.

Who would have thought that that that was even allowed in today's game?

I understand, but you still have a chance no matter how small, why leave Funderburke in the game.  I have never seen a manager give up like this.

How is it possible for so many players on a single team to look so clueless at the plate, for several weeks running? Shouldn't someone have kicked some serious ass at some point, or even tossed some bats into the shower? What manner of  man could oversee such a colossal failure day after bloody day with only the slightest ripple of emotional reaction?

I've had enough of The Automaton! Give me someone for whom winning is flesh and blood..."the gun breech hot to the touch."

I wanted to share my opinion: the Twins hitting philosophy is abysmal. The Twins philosophy is to transform typically solid gap hitters into power hitters. This approach results in guys batting .240 with 10-20 or usually less than 10 bombs per year. If you are into analytics, these statistics will not result in playoff appearances. Rocco stated "you have to dominate a quadrant of the strike zone." It appears the Twins look for a certain location and swing and go for bomb. I feel this results in a lack of playe discipline. Whatcha think?

If anything, sacrifice a live chicken or something.

I think that Rocco knows full well that most of the team basically gave up a long time ago.  He's just a little late in joining the crowd.

Rocco's ultimate F U to all his detractors.  One last sign to show he doesn't know how to handle a pitching staff.
