F U Cleveland -crushing loss-how do our twins recover from this😭😥

Peter they have not recovered from the Texas loss. Do you remember when you were saying you were happy when they took 3-4 games when it should have been a sweep and you were fine with that.

Well this is what you get.

Yup. That loss was the beginning of the end.

  • Team LOB 10
  • Team RISP 2-9 (Santana 1-3, Vázquez 0-1, Correa 0-1, Buxton 1-1, Lewis 0-2, Jeffers 0-1)

Santana's hit was an infield single that didn't drive in a run.

Doesn't even count.

Well we aint making the playoff's.

Time to clean house with Rocco and his horrible staff, The the FO needs to go.

We are stuck with Joe Pohlad which really sucks!

This team plays without a pulse and I have been saying it all year. The manager has no energy and it does trickle down.

And all of you that say the players need to play are dead wrong. This is all on Rocco and his no energy/personality and all his optional BS, rest days, not playing in spring training,

His team just is never ready to play.

I concur.

In Baldelli I don’t trust.    I’m very disappointed in Baldelli.  He has no clue.  Baldelli and whole staff have to go!  FO needs to be replaced.   They are so horrible.  Very embarrassing!   I’m fed up with Twins now.

They are getting exactly what they deserve.

I feel bad for the players because they have to deal with this inept manager/FO and moron of an owner.

I mean who the hell comes out and has a speech in January saying we are cutting payroll.

Why not just announce to all of the free agents not to sign with us.

Just cut the damn payroll then and keep it quiet.

It's not like 95% of this fan base would even notice.

Can we all agree that the third wildcard is just ridiculous? None of these teams should be in the postseason. It's like an expanded march madness. Less is more.

To be fair, the tigers have been hot for over a month. They were 55-63 on August 10. And about to pass us now.

Guy with 2 HR's 10 RBI and a BA in the .220's beats us in the 8th with a HR. Meanwhile Twins best hitters fan twice and weakly ground out in the 9th. And after getting a 3 run lead early, they let it get away. Now the WC is REALLY slipping away for sure. It could be gone by the weekend.

Hitters can't get it done. The team that wants it more wins. Twins don't seem to be that team anymore. Carlos did swing at ball 4 when the count was 3-1, but Santana's grounder probably may have erased him? Even if the out was made at 1st, Lewis easily strikes out.

Jax fails. Nothing is working. Cleveland is 8-2 against Twins. Frustrating.

This is on the front office for not acquiring a left-handed reliever.   Jax has never pitched well in a second inning but what choice do you have at that point?

Dude it's on more than just the front office.

Started with Joe Pohlad announcing to the world that we were cutting payroll.

Horrible way to start the season.

The white sox are currently playing, but as of now, in the last ten games;  Twins 3 and 7, Sox are 4 and 6.

And that is why Baldelli, Falvey and Levine will not be fired...

To put that another way, a team that was 8 games below .500 three quarters through the season, and still 4 games below .500 against teams that aren't historically awful, is in playoff contention.

If they miss the playoff's they will all be gone.

Some will.

On November 6, 2001, the owners of the 30 teams in Major League Baseball (MLB) voted 28–2 to eliminate two teams for the 2002 season. The two teams expected to be eliminated, the Minnesota Twins and the Montreal Expos, cast the dissenting votes. According to Commissioner Bud Selig, the decision was made due to economic reasons, as "the teams to be contracted [had] a long record of failing to generate enough revenues to operate a viable major league franchise."[1] Also factored into the contraction plan was the two teams' inability to fund the construction of new ballparks to replace the outdated Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome and Olympic Stadium.[2]

Can A-Rod and his business partner buy the Twins too.

Bud Selig's decision to eliminate two (Twins and Expos) was basically B.S.   Bud Selig hated Governor Jesse Ventura.   I think Jesse knew that the lease with the Twins couldn't break.
