    Of course it's a grade 2 strain, and of course it'll be 2.5 months before he can ramp back up. Nothing with this team is ever best case scenario. Good thing we have depth. but ****ing hell.

    Zebby seems to pitch like he is scared whenever it is a good hitter at the plate. He doesn't trust his stuff and he has very little command of that slider to make it a competitive pitch it seems.

    I will now have a permanent dislike for Chourio. Hell of a play, but I bet if that ball gets over the fence, we score again and we're talking about 14.

    Striking out a less does not make you a better baseball player. Yeah, he strikes out a lot. But his value is undeniable. 25% strikeout rate would be nice. But it's never been his game. Look at Correa, he's almost never striking out.. but he's also almost never driving the ball with any authority and has the lowest OPS on the team among regulars.

    If Varland starts another game, or is the bulk pitcher in a single other game, it will be dereliction of duty. The dude will only be effective as a 1 inning reliever. If even that.

    Last Season Duran absolutely located his pitches just fine, and had superior velocity. He constantly kept people off balance. This year is another story.

    Can someone in this organization please admit that something is wrong with Jhoan Duran? This season does not jive with anything we've seen in previous years. the 4 MPH loss in velocity, the complete lack of command and spin on his breaking balls. He's broken.

    Pablo's changeup is supposed to be his best pitch but it feels to me this year like every time he throws it some slappy nobody is hitting it for a double

    The Twins hitters look completely uninterested in getting a good pitch to hit. They appear to be looking for a fastball, and swinging at the first one they see, regardless of location. A lot of weak ass contact and balls augured into the ground. Poor approach tonight.
