I’ve kind of dreaded each SWR start fearing he would turn into a pumpkin.

Today, I’ll go with cautious optimism and expect a decent start. He’s the best guy in the rotation at limiting homers (so far) and the A’s are going with a homer-dependent offense at this time.

Don't know what the lineup is yet, but I did read that Miranda is at 3rd and Lewis is sitting.

The lineup is on MLB.com. Don't know how to copy and paste from there. Same lineup as yesterday except Miranda is playing 3B and hitting 5th, Correa moves up to the 3 hole,  Margot in LF hitting 8th, and Vasquez is catching hitting 9th. Lewis, Jeffers, Martin all on the bench.

That's what's being reported. Larnach at DH.. would have preferred Royce but let's see what happens.

A month ago Jeffers would have DH. Now.. I'm happy he's not.

I hope the complimentary piece on TD doesn’t doom SWR tonight. They usually do. The good news is that it seems to work the other way as well…for instance, discussing the ‘overratedness’ of Correa on the day he begins an 8-10 streak.

In the interests of everyone concerned, I’d like to see way more articles ripping players and management here.
